Every year when May comes around I do some spring cleaning of my unposted drafts and so certainly, I have some reviews that have been skulking about waiting for their time in the sun. I also have a stack of books that I have been dying to read and hopefully review in glowing terms for you. There’s plenty of Shannon Hale (I’ve got both Princess Academy: The Forgotten Sisters
and The Princess in Black
ready for you)! Another graphic novel because I didn’t have time for Smile
in April. How could I skip Smile? I’ll mix in some non-fiction for a bit of variety. Plus, Bone Gap
which several of the people I follow on twitter have insisted that everyone must read. And Grace Lin’s Starry River of the Sky
because I love just about everything Grace Lin writes. Basically, it’s going to be a great month so stick around.
P.S. If you haven’t put a hold on (or preordered) Sarah Dessen’s Saint Anything
you might want to do that now. It comes out May 5th!! I put a hold on it and provided the library gods come through, I’ll review that for you this month too!
